Emmaus is a living and working community. 10 live and work together in an old house alongside the Prinsegracht in The Hague. The work mainly consists of collecting and selling ´leftovers of wealth´. With the money these 10 people make from selling these leftovers they are able to support themselves without having to rely on government support.

It is a various community: apart form the permanent inhabitants there are also foreign volunteers and people who seek temporary place to stay.

A team of enthusiastic volunteers helps sort and sell the leftovers of wealth.
