carreer | After my study I volunteered for a year at a Youth organization in Nijmegen. Then I was a Fortran programmmer for almost 4 year at the Argicultural University in Wageningen. Then I was a Unix/Linux Teacher at Syntegra in Zoetermeer whereafter I worked 1.5 year at the Internet department of ING bank in Amsterdam. De last 10 years I am a Unix system administrator at ISP InterNLnet in Nijmegen.
personal | I love (Unix) technique and Open Source developments and like to explain things. Courseware and education in general have my special interest, partial because of having been a teacher but also partially because it's genetically determined. You mostly get a quick response when you email me (just saying you can often find me in front of my PC). I like sporting as an excuse to drink beer. My holidays are most of the time in the mountains with a heavy backpack. My recent visit to Cape Verde gave me warm feelings for Africa.
