Viafrica offers ICT professionals and consultants the unique opportunity to support our projects by working a number of weeks in Africa on a concrete assignment. In cooperation with outsourcing agency IT-staffing we annually recruit eight ICT professionals for a mission of three weeks to our ICT centres in Tanzania or Kenya.

Based on the specific staffing needs at our offices in Africa, available positions are published at www.it-staffing.nl, www.computable.nl and on our own website. Candidates are expected to work on a volunteer basis for three weeks, making their expertise and experience available to the specific project in Africa. In return you get a unique experience in Tanzania or Kenya, and all your travel and accommodation costs are met by IT Staffing. Your stay ends with a weekend safari.
 
In recent years there have been consultants to Tanzania and Kenya who have advised us on logistics, internal procedures, personal effectiveness, marketing, IT development and management. The visiting consultants are extremely valuable for Viafrica, and we offer the consultants a very valuable experience in return. The advantage of a relatively short period of three weeks is that the work done is very result-oriented. The consultants work closely together with our staff. Experience, knowledge and skills are mutually transferred. That makes it an enriching experience for both sides. Our employees are supported by highly experienced consultants who enable them to grow. The consultants in turn feel that their knowledge and experience is not universal; Africa has different requirements and challenges them to find novel new solutions.
