Viafrica encourages the economic and social development of Africa by using ICT. It is our conviction that ICT can enhance many developments if it is used in the right way.

Vision
Viafrica combines social projects with the sales of ICT services and materials. We are of the opinion that this combination is the most productive. The social projects are destined for target groups that have no access to ICT and that benefit from our support, for example the installation and maintenance of computer rooms at secondary schools. With the sales of ICT services and materials we contribute to a more extensive, better and sustainable use of ICT within the private and semi-public sector in Africa. We offer organisations and companies affordable products and services from an excellent quality, allowing them to work more effectively and efficiently. At the same time these activities are a source of income for Viafrica.

We believe this combination provides the best results: education and the labour market go hand in hand. No computer-literate recent graduates who enter a labour market that does not yet need their skills, but also not a labour market begging for computer knowledge while no recent graduate has the necessary skills. Our combined approach is aimed at having education and the labour market reinforcing each other. Demand and offer are therefore better balanced.

Mission
Viafrica’s mission is to use ICT as a means to stimulate developments in Africa. We offer solutions for local demand and needs and link them as close as possible to the local context and needs and make ICT available for the relevant target groups, such as education and the private sector.
